About Alison Czeczuga

Alison Czeczuga is a lifelong plant lover who turned her passion for the natural world into a career. As a community developer, Alison worked with farmers around the world, from Jamaica and Costa Rica to Ethiopia. For three years, she was a university research assistant studying organic agriculture systems and alternative crops, specifically medicinal herbs and native plants. She spent a year working as an organic farmer herself, in rural West Virginia, before moving home to the Blue Ridge Mountains. A newlywed and lifelong vegetarian, she and her husband live on three secluded acres with their two dogs just outside Asheville, NC. At Gaia, Alison is our Educational Development Manager, responsible for creating innovative and captivating content about medicinal plants and our products for consumers, retailers and health-care professionals.
